  1. Ensure accurate and timely inventory management by monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement inventory control processes and procedures.
  3. Identify and analyze inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and product demand to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  5. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues or delays.
  6. Utilize inventory management software and tools to track and manage inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
  7. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
  8. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Communicate inventory status and concerns to management and other relevant departments.
  10. Train and educate team members on inventory management processes and procedures.
  11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory storage area.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve inventory management processes and increase efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  14. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory-related projects and initiatives.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and providing support to team members as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education Or Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For An Inventory Control Specialist Role At Trane Technologies. However, Candidates With A Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field May Be Preferred.

  • Experience In Inventory Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Inventory Control Or Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Distribution Setting. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Inventory Systems, Supply Chain Processes, And Best Practices For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Levels.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Inventory Control Specialists Need To Be Detail-Oriented And Have Strong Analytical Skills To Effectively Manage Inventory Levels And Identify Potential Issues. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data And Make Recommendations For Improving Inventory Processes.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Software: Proficiency In Using Inventory Management Software Is A Must For This Role. Candidates Should Have Experience With Systems Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Other Similar Programs To Track Inventory Movements, Monitor Stock Levels, And Generate Reports.

  • Communication And Organizational Skills: As An Inventory Control Specialist, Effective Communication And Organization Are Key To Success. This Includes The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Communicate Inventory Needs To Suppliers, And Maintain Accurate Records Of Inventory Transactions. Strong Time Management Skills Are Also Important To Meet Deadlines And Manage Multiple Tasks Efficiently.
