
Financial Aid Officer
The Financial Aid Officer position works closely with new and continuing students to ensure the financial award that best meets the students’ needs. The Financial Aid Officer analyzes and evaluates student financial aid data consistent with financial planning policies and procedures and with federal regulations for awarding aid. Work well with other departments to provide accurate information on financial aid and student by student cases. Assign the appropriate budget to a student and package the student (award their aid) as well as ensure that aid is paid to students' accounts in a timely manner. Responsible for complete and accurate files and paperwork, certify loan applications, and complete Verification and C Code Requirements. Maintain consistently compliant files with federal regulations, school policies and procedures.
Minimum one year financial aid experience.
Ability to master the financial aid disbursement process from loan certification to disbursement.
