We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Channel Sales Representative/Manager for our SketchUP product. As a Channel Sales Representative/Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our market reach through our network of channel partners.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners to drive sales and increase market reach for the SketchUP product.
  2. Act as a liaison between Trimble and channel partners, providing support and guidance to ensure successful collaboration.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting the SketchUP product through channel partners.
  4. Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the product's market presence.
  5. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to channel partners to improve sales performance.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve sales strategies.
  8. Communicate product updates, promotions, and other relevant information to channel partners in a timely manner.
  9. Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Trimble and promote the SketchUP product.
  10. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment and coordination between direct sales and channel sales efforts.
  11. Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the SketchUP product.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Sales Experience: A Channel Sales Representative/ Manager At Trimble Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In A Channel Or Partner Management Role. This Includes A Track Record Of Successful Sales Strategies And Achieving Revenue Targets.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Channel Partners, As Well As Articulating The Value Proposition Of Trimble's Sketchup Products. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Present To Diverse Audiences.

  • Knowledge Of Sketchup And The Design Industry: Trimble's Sketchup Products Are Widely Used In The Design Industry, And A Channel Sales Representative/ Manager Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Product And Its Features. Knowledge Of The Design Industry And Trends Can Also Help In Identifying Potential Partners And Target Markets For Sketchup.

  • Proven Leadership Abilities: As A Channel Sales Representative/ Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Sales Representatives And Driving Their Performance. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members, Are Essential.

  • Ability To Travel: This Role May Require Regular Travel To Meet With Channel Partners, Attend Industry Events, And Conduct Sales Training. The Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Travel As Needed To Fulfill The Responsibilities Of The Job.
