GNC Engineer - State Estimation

We are looking for a talented and experienced GNC Engineer - State Estimation to join our team at Trimble. This individual should possess excellent technical capabilities and must be a creative problem-solver with a passion for creating reliable and efficient solutions. As a GNC Engineer - State Estimation, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining state estimation algorithms for our GNSS/Inertial Navigation Systems.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field• A minimum of 3 years of experience in state estimation and navigation algorithms• Expertise in Kalman filtering and optimization techniques• Knowledge of inertial navigation systems and GNSS receivers• Experience in C/C++ and MATLAB• Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsIf you have the desired qualifications and are interested in joining our team, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain state estimation algorithms for GNSS/Inertial Navigation Systems.
2. Develop and maintain Kalman filters and optimization techniques.
3. Analyze and interpret GNSS and inertial navigation system data.
4. Perform tests and simulations to ensure accuracy and reliability of state estimation algorithms.
5. Troubleshoot and debug system issues.
6. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and methods for state estimation algorithms.
7. Document design specifications and test results.
8. Collaborate with teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of state estimation algorithms.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
