  1. Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and incident management plans to ensure the safety and resilience of Truist Financial.
  2. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to business continuity and incident management, and make recommendations for improvements.
  3. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical processes and systems and develop appropriate recovery plans.
  5. Lead cross-functional teams in testing and evaluating the effectiveness of business continuity and incident management plans.
  6. Develop crisis communication plans and procedures to ensure effective communication during an incident.
  7. Conduct training and education sessions for employees to increase awareness and understanding of business continuity and incident management procedures.
  8. Monitor and track incidents and disruptions, and provide timely updates and reports to senior management.
  9. Continuously review and update business continuity and incident management plans to reflect changes in the organization's operations and processes.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams during incidents and disruptions.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and resources to support business continuity and incident management efforts.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to business continuity and incident management.
  13. Proactively identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement in business continuity and incident management processes.
  14. Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders to provide updates, recommendations, and potential solutions for business continuity and incident management.
  15. Participate in business continuity and incident management exercises and drills to test and improve the organization's readiness for potential disruptions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Risk Management, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Business Continuity Planning And Incident Management

  • Certification In Business Continuity Planning (Cbcp) Or Related Field (E.g. Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certified Business Continuity Manager)

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Regulations Related To Business Continuity And Incident Management (E.g. Iso 22301, Nist Sp 800-34)

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
