Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization's compliance with the CRA and its regulations, while also fostering meaningful relationships with community organizations and promoting financial inclusion. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of CRA regulations, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to promoting economic growth and stability in our communities.

  1. Ensure compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and its regulations within the organization.
  2. Develop and implement CRA compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess the organization's CRA compliance and identify any potential areas of improvement.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure CRA compliance is integrated into all business practices and decisions.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert on CRA regulations and provide guidance and support to internal teams.
  6. Foster relationships with community organizations to identify and evaluate community development opportunities that align with CRA goals.
  7. Monitor and report on the organization's CRA performance and progress towards meeting its CRA goals.
  8. Stay updated on any changes in CRA regulations and guidelines and ensure timely implementation of any necessary updates or changes.
  9. Educate and train employees on CRA regulations and their role in promoting fair lending and investment practices.
  10. Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies regarding CRA compliance.
  11. Develop and maintain a positive reputation and strong partnerships within the community by promoting the organization's commitment to responsible and equitable financial practices.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records of CRA compliance activities and reports.
  13. Continuously assess and improve the organization's CRA compliance program to ensure it remains effective and in line with regulatory requirements.
  14. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in CRA compliance.
