- Monitor and analyze the evolving threat landscape to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities for Truist Financial and its clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to proactively mitigate cyber threats and protect the organization's assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain effective security protocols and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and recommending remediation actions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Provide regular reports and updates on the organization's security posture to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentor and train junior team members on cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
- Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance the organization's cybersecurity capabilities.
- Identify and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Act as a subject matter expert for all cybersecurity-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Stay vigilant and constantly monitor for new and emerging threats, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Continuously assess and improve the organization's cybersecurity policies, procedures, and practices to ensure maximum protection against cyber threats.
Strong Technical Knowledge And Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Threats, Attack Vectors, And Mitigation Techniques. Additionally, They Should Have Hands-On Experience With Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, And Antivirus Software.
Extensive Experience In Threat Monitoring And Analysis: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Identifying And Analyzing Potential Security Threats, Including Malware, Phishing Attempts, And Network Intrusions. They Should Also Be Proficient In Threat Intelligence Gathering And Analysis.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With Other Cybersecurity Professionals, As Well As Employees From Different Departments Within The Organization. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills: Cybersecurity Threats Are Constantly Evolving, And The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Think Critically And Adapt Quickly To Identify And Respond To Emerging Threats. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Security Issues.
Relevant Certifications And Education: A Bachelor's Degree In Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role.
