- Oversee and manage the New Markets Tax Credit portfolio, ensuring the success of investments and maximizing returns for Truist Financial.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies for the portfolio, including monitoring performance, identifying risks, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments, analyzing financial statements and market trends to determine viability and potential for impact.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate investment opportunities that align with Truist's mission and goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, developers, and other key stakeholders to support the growth of underserved communities.
- Proactively identify and address any potential challenges or issues with existing investments, and develop solutions to mitigate risk and maintain profitability.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of the portfolio, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in asset management, and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Support Truist's commitment to social responsibility by promoting and advocating for investments that have a positive impact on communities.
- Mentor and train junior members of the asset management team, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Asset Management, Preferably In The Community Development Or New Markets Tax Credit (Nmtc) Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field; Mba Or Cfa Preferred.
Strong Understanding Of Nmtc Program Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Investment Portfolios And Maximizing Returns.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Investors, Community Partners, And Other Stakeholders.
