Software Engineer - Mainframe
Truist Financial is seeking an experienced and motivated Mainframe Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing mainframe software solutions in order to meet the business needs of our organization. We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background in mainframe software development and engineering who can think analytically and solve complex problems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams. If you are eager to utilize your mainframe software engineering expertise in a fast-paced and innovative environment, we’d love to hear from you!Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, mainframe development, and/or programming- Experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM- Understanding of system architecture and design principles- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
