- Oversee and maintain the quality, availability, and usability of data for Truist Financial's wholesale organization.
- Develop and implement data management strategies and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
- Collaborate with various teams and departments to identify data needs and requirements, and ensure data is collected, stored, and managed in accordance with those needs.
- Monitor data integrity and proactively identify and resolve any data quality issues.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement data governance policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of data to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies and take necessary corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation on data standards, definitions, and processes for the wholesale organization.
- Provide training and support to employees on data management best practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management, and make recommendations for improving data processes and systems.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their data needs and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on data-related matters.
- Lead and mentor junior data steward team members, ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their responsibilities effectively.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve data processes and systems across the organization.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and promote the value of data management throughout the organization.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Data Science, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Data Management, Preferably In The Financial Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Data Governance Principles And Best Practices.
