Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior FSQA Supervisor to join our 2nd shift team. As the Senior FSQA Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained throughout our facility. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual with proven leadership skills and a strong understanding of food safety and quality assurance.   1. Oversee and supervise the 2nd shift FSQA team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to food safety and quality assurance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve food safety and quality standards in the facility.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, equipment, and facility to identify and address any potential food safety or quality issues.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination in maintaining food safety and quality.
  5. Train and mentor FSQA team members on company policies, procedures and best practices related to food safety and quality.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and trends related to food safety and quality and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to food safety and quality in a timely and efficient manner.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials.
  9. Create and maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all food safety and quality procedures and processes.
  10. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in food safety and quality.
  11. Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for any food safety or quality issues.
  12. Act as a point of contact for any food safety and quality-related inquiries or concerns from internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Conduct regular performance evaluations of FSQA team members and provide feedback and coaching for improvement.
  14. Promote a culture of food safety and quality throughout the facility by setting a positive example and enforcing company policies.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and ensure food safety and quality requirements are met.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Microbiology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Food Production Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Fda And Usda Regulations, Haccp Principles, And Food Safety Standards.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Mentor A Team Of Fsqa Technicians.

  • Experience With Auditing And Implementing Corrective Actions, As Well As Creating And Maintaining Fsqa Documentation And Records.
