As the Director of Communications and Media Relations, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and overseeing corporate messaging.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's vision and values.
  2. Manage all aspects of media relations, including creating and maintaining relationships with journalists, responding to media inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
  3. Oversee the creation and dissemination of corporate messaging, including press releases, statements, and other materials.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all communication channels.
  5. Monitor media coverage and provide timely and accurate updates to company leadership.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, community leaders, and government officials.
  7. Serve as a company spokesperson and represent the organization in media interviews and public speaking engagements.
  8. Manage crisis communication plans and respond to potential reputational risks.
  9. Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for proactive communication strategies.
  10. Manage the communications budget and ensure effective use of resources.
  11. Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals to ensure high-quality and impactful communication efforts.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing and business objectives through effective communication strategies.
  13. Stay up-to-date with emerging communication technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  14. Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and values in order to effectively communicate them to a diverse audience.
  15. Uphold the company's brand and messaging standards in all communication efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Communications And Media Relations, Preferably In The Food Industry.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To Various Audiences.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Media Strategies And Managing Media Relationships.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
