We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician 1 to join our team and support our production facilities. As an Engineering Technician 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring our processes and equipment are operating efficiently to meet our production goals. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and possess excellent technical skills.   1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on equipment and develop solutions to resolve them.
  3. Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify potential areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  4. Collaborate with production team and other engineers to implement design changes and upgrades to equipment.
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation and reports related to equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  6. Keep inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all engineering activities.
  8. Train and assist production team members on safe and proper use of equipment.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology.
  10. Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by identifying and implementing more efficient equipment and processes.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on equipment performance and issues.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  13. Act as a role model for the company's values and culture.
  14. Take ownership of assigned projects and see them through to completion.
  15. Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Additional Technical Education Or Certifications Preferred.

  • Prior Experience In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment, Preferably In The Food Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Engineering Principles And Practices, Including Mechanical, Electrical, And Technical Troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency In Computer Programs, Such As Autocad, Microsoft Office, And Other Relevant Software.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Engineers, Production Personnel, And Other Team Members.
