  1. Inspect and sort post-mortem carcasses according to company and USDA standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Food Safety And Quality Assurance (Fsqa) Standards And Regulations: A Qualified Candidate For The Fsqa Nsis Post-Mortem Sorter Position At Tyson Foods Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Standards Set By Government Agencies Such As The Usda And Fda. This Includes Knowledge Of Haccp Principles, Sanitation Procedures, And Quality Control Systems.

  • Experience In Post-Mortem Sorting And Inspection: The Nsis Post-Mortem Sorter Is Responsible For Sorting And Inspecting Animal Carcasses For Quality And Safety. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In This Area, Preferably In A Food Processing Or Meat Packing Facility.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role. The Fsqa Nsis Post-Mortem Sorter Must Be Able To Identify And Report Any Abnormalities Or Defects In The Animal Carcasses Accurately.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Fsqa Nsis Post-Mortem Sorter Will Be Working Closely With Other Team Members And Communicating Any Issues Or Concerns To Supervisors. Effective Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Position Requires Standing For Long Periods And Working In A Fast-Paced, Physically Demanding Environment. Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina To Perform These Duties And Be Able To Work Efficiently And Safely In This Type Of Setting.
