
Lead Teller

- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients by understanding their needs, resolving any issues, and promoting a positive and welcoming environment.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by guiding and mentoring the team of tellers to achieve their goals and meet performance targets.
- Ensure that all tellers are fully trained on banking procedures, policies, and regulations in order to provide accurate and efficient service to customers.
- Monitor and evaluate teller transactions to ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of cash transactions and balance cash drawers daily.
- Collaborate with other departments within the bank to improve overall customer experience and identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in order to provide the best service possible to customers.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a satisfactory resolution and maintaining customer loyalty.
- Conduct performance evaluations for tellers and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support their development.
- Adhere to all security and confidentiality standards to protect the bank and its customers.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Act as a role model for the team by displaying a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with other lead tellers and management to develop and implement strategies to meet department and company goals.
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in the banking industry.
- Ensure all team members are complying with U.S. Bank Corp's policies and procedures.
Banking Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Bank Or Financial Institution, With A Strong Knowledge Of Banking Products And Services.
Supervisory Skills: Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Manage A Team, Including Assigning Tasks, Providing Feedback, And Coaching For Improved Performance.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Focus On Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Building Relationships With Clients.
Cash Handling Expertise: Proficient In Cash Handling Procedures, Including Balancing Cash Drawers, Processing Deposits And Withdrawals, And Identifying Fraudulent Activity.
Organizational Abilities: Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
