  1. Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans for the Credit Risk Portfolio Reviews department, ensuring thorough coverage of all relevant areas.
  2. Lead and supervise a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of risk within the credit risk management processes.
  4. Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in place for managing credit risk.
  5. Identify control deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Monitor and track the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective remediation.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory developments related to credit risk management and incorporate best practices into audit processes.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management.
  9. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and provide regular updates on the status of audits.
  10. Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit policies, procedures, and methodologies to continuously improve the audit function.
  11. Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness within the organization.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on credit risk management and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  13. Mentor and train junior audit staff to build a strong and skilled team.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Credit Risk Management: A Senior Audit Manager For Credit Risk Portfolio Reviews At U.s. Bank Corp Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Credit Risk Management Principles, Including Credit Analysis, Underwriting, And Portfolio Monitoring.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Such As Those Set By The Federal Reserve, Occ, And Fdic. This Includes Knowledge Of Credit Risk Management Guidelines, Stress Testing, And Risk Reporting.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: A Senior Audit Manager Should Possess Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills To Oversee And Guide A Team Of Auditors In Conducting Credit Risk Portfolio Reviews. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Facilitate Open Communication Within The Team.

  • Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Senior Audit Manager, The Individual Must Possess Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Issues Within The Credit Risk Portfolio. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Make Sound Recommendations For Risk Mitigation.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: Effective Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For A Senior Audit Manager To Effectively Communicate Audit Findings And Recommendations To Senior Management And Stakeholders. This Includes The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
