
Senior Economist
The U.S. Bank Corp is seeking a Senior Economist to join our team of highly skilled professionals. As a Senior Economist, you will be responsible for providing strategic economic advice and analysis to our corporate clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us make better-informed decisions and drive our business forward. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in economics, finance, and/or data analysis. An advanced degree in economics or a related field is required; a PhD or MBA is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to think critically and strategically, and an understanding of the financial services industry. Previous experience working with large corporate clients and developing economic models is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and present economic models and analyses to help guide our corporate clients' decision-making processes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends and opportunities in the financial services industry.
- Offer strategic economic advice and analysis to our corporate clients.
- Monitor economic conditions and analyze macroeconomic data to inform our clients’ investments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure our corporate clients are receiving the most efficient and effective economic advice.
- Develop long-term economic forecasts and provide economic research and analysis to support our clients’ strategic planning.
- Stay abreast of economic developments and provide regular updates to our corporate clients.
- Prepare reports and presentations on economic trends, forecasts, and analyses.
- Manage client relations and provide timely and accurate responses to any questions or inquiries.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, economic principles, and related regulations.
