
Senior Trust Officer, Assistant Vice President
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Trust Officer, Assistant Vice President to join our U.S. Bank Corp team. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong knowledge of trust and estate law, and have the ability to provide expert advice to clients. As a Senior Trust Officer, Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for managing and administering trust accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and providing an exceptional level of service to our clients. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in working with trusts and estates, a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, and a current trust officer registration with FINRA. In addition, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of banking regulations, taxation, and other related trust issues is also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer trust accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice to clients on trust and estate law.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure a high level of service.
- Monitor financial transactions and investments to ensure compliance with trust objectives.
- Maintain thorough records of trust accounts and financial transactions.
- Research, analyze, and interpret trust documents, investment guidelines, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and review trust account documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents.
- Advise clients on financial planning and tax matters.
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up to date on current trust and estate law developments and regulations.
