Job Description

We are currently searching for a motivated and organized individual to join the U.S. Department of Agriculture's team as a Consumer Safety Inspector. In this role, you will play a vital role in monitoring the safety of food products and ensuring that they comply with federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of food safety practices. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the safety of food products and enforce federal regulations.
  2. Inspect food production and storage facilities to ensure safety standards are met.
  3. Investigate consumer complaints and take corrective action when necessary.

  5. Document findings and complete detailed reports of inspections.
  6. Educate food producers about safety standards and compliance regulations.
  7. Monitor food production and storage processes to ensure safety.
  8. Keep records of inspection results and violations.
  9. Stay up-to-date on food safety regulations and industry trends.
  10. Participate in training and development activities.
