As a key member of our International Trade Administration, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and programs that support U.S. trade and investment worldwide.   1. Develop and implement policies and programs that support U.S. trade and investment worldwide.
  2. Provide strategic leadership and direction for the International Trade Administration.
  3. Conduct research and analysis on international trade and economic issues to inform decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote U.S. trade interests.
  5. Represent the U.S. Department of Commerce at international conferences and events.
  6. Provide guidance and support to team members in the International Trade Administration.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Use data and metrics to track progress and identify areas for growth and development.
  9. Communicate with stakeholders, including businesses, industry associations, and foreign governments, to promote U.S. trade interests.
  10. Stay up-to-date on international trade and economic developments and provide timely updates and analysis to senior leadership.
  11. Work with other government agencies to resolve trade issues and barriers.
  12. Train and mentor junior trade specialists and staff members.
  13. Collaborate with other federal agencies and private sector organizations to support U.S. trade and investment initiatives.
  14. Provide expertise and advice to senior leadership on international trade matters.
  15. Represent the U.S. Department of Commerce at high-level meetings and negotiations with foreign governments.
  16. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the international trade community.
  17. Stay current on laws and regulations related to international trade and ensure compliance.
  18. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate the impact of U.S. trade and investment policies and programs.
  19. Identify and pursue new opportunities to promote U.S. trade and investment worldwide.
  20. Continuously monitor and assess the global economic landscape to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Business, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In International Trade, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Policies, Including Trade Agreements And Tariffs.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Market Trends.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Liaise With Foreign Governments And Businesses.
