
Dental Assistant
The U.S. Department of Justice is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists in all dental procedures, including the use of instruments, materials, and technologies.
- Prepare dental instruments and materials prior to treatments.
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and materials.
- Take and record vital signs and other medical information.
- Explain dental procedures to patients and provide instructions for post-treatment care.
- Keep patient records up to date and accurately enter data into electronic health records systems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with ordering dental supplies and restocking of materials and instruments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
- Participate in continuing education and training activities.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Certified Dental Assistant (Cda) Credential
At Least Two Years Of Experience As A Dental Assistant
Knowledge Of Dental Procedures And Instruments
Ability To Follow Instructions And Work Independently
