Job Description

As a Diversion Investigator at the U.S. Department of Justice, you will have the opportunity to use your investigative experience and knowledge of law enforcement procedures to monitor activities related to prescription drug diversion. You will be responsible for conducting investigations of health care professionals, pharmacies, and other individuals or entities that may be engaged in the illegal diversion of prescription drugs. You will also assist in developing strategies to prevent and investigate potential violations of the Controlled Substances Act and other applicable laws.We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a law enforcement or investigative role, and a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field. You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of investigative techniques, and be familiar with the laws and regulations governing the investigation of prescription drug diversion.If you have a passion for justice and a commitment to protecting the public from illegal drug diversion, then this may be the perfect job for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize investigative experience and knowledge of law enforcement procedures to monitor activities related to prescription drug diversion.

  3. Develop strategies to prevent and investigate potential violations of the Controlled Substances Act and other applicable laws.
  4. Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with involved parties.
  5. Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify potential violations and develop strategies to prevent them.
  6. Maintain a strong understanding of investigative techniques and laws and regulations governing the investigation of prescription drug diversion.
  7. Demonstrate a passion for justice and a commitment to protecting the public from illegal drug diversion.
