Job Description

The U.S. Department of Justice is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Sports Specialist to join our team. As a Sports Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of recreational sports programs for the Department of Justice and its employees. We are looking for someone with a passion for sports who can help create an exciting and engaging environment.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, as well as extensive knowledge of sports rules, regulations, and safety practices. Additionally, you must possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement recreational sports programs for the Department of Justice and its employees.
  2. Ensure that all sports programs comply with relevant rules, regulations, and safety practices.
  3. Make sure that sports programs are engaging and offer a positive experience for participants.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports programs.
  5. Supervise sports program staff, volunteers, and participants.
  6. Facilitate team-building activities and events.
  7. Create and maintain records of program activities.
  8. Manage the budget for sports programs.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations related to sports programs.
  10. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in sports programs.
