
Passport Specialist
The U.S. Department of State is looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Passport Specialist. This individual should have excellent customer service skills and a strong interest in international travel. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a commitment to providing the highest level of service to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience in customer service and/or administrative support in a government or corporate setting. A valid driver’s license is also required. Candidates should possess strong organizational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is highly desired. Responsibilities:
- Process passport applications and renewals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide guidance on application processes and requirements.
- Maintain records and documentation of all passport applications.
- Manage the customer service workflow to ensure efficient passport processing.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-level customer service.
- Follow strict security protocols and procedures when handling passport applications.
- Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Stay up to date on policies and procedures related to passport processing.
