
Criminal Investigator
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Criminal Investigator. In this position, you will be responsible for gathering evidence and conducting investigations in order to identify and prosecute individuals who have committed offenses against the U.S. Treasury. You must have excellent investigative, analytical, and communication skills and be passionate about upholding the laws of the United States. Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze financial crimes and other violations of U.S. Treasury laws.
- Collect evidence and documents to support investigations.
- Interview witnesses and suspects to gather information.
- Develop and execute investigative plans.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and present detailed investigative reports.
- Testify in court proceedings.
- Maintain contact with other agencies to exchange information.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations related to U.S. Treasury crimes.
- Remain up-to-date with developments in the field and new trends in criminal activity.
