Job Description

Are you a highly motivated Statistician looking to join the U.S. Department of the Treasury? This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that provides critical statistical analysis and insight to the Department. We are seeking an experienced Statistician with a passion for data analysis and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistics, quantitative research, and data analysis. A successful candidate must be able to interpret and communicate data in order to inform decisions, policies, and strategies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The candidate should also be comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative data. The Statistician will be responsible for developing analytical models and providing sound advice to the Department. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. At least five years of experience in statistical analysis and data manipulation is preferred. The candidate should also have experience with a variety of statistical software programs.
