
Orthotist/Prosthetist
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking an experienced Orthotist/Prosthetist who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to our nation's veterans. The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of orthotics and prosthetics and a commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. The Orthotist/Prosthetist will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team at VA and will be responsible for providing expert care to veterans with a wide range of orthotic and prosthetic needs.The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Orthotics/Prosthetics or a related field and have a minimum of two years' experience in an orthotics/prosthetics clinical setting. The candidate must be registered with the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) and must have a valid state license to practice orthotics/prosthetics. The Orthotist/Prosthetist must have excellent clinical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate must also be a team player who is committed to delivering high-quality care in a timely and efficient manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Orthotics/Prosthetics Or Related Field
Certified By The American Board For Certification In Orthotics
Prosthetics And Pedorthics (Abcopp)
Licensed To Practice Orthotics/Prosthetics In The State
Knowledge Of The Principles
Theories And Practices Of Orthotics/Prosthetics
Proficient In The Use Of All Relevant Clinical Equipment
