  1. Develop and implement global cash and liquidity management strategies for Uber, ensuring efficient use of cash resources and minimizing financial risk.
  2. Oversee daily cash operations, including cash forecasting, cash positioning, and cash flow analysis.
  3. Monitor and manage cash balances across all regions and currencies, making recommendations for investments or borrowings to optimize cash position.
  4. Conduct regular reviews of cash management processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives to improve cash flow and working capital management.
  6. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and maintain strong partnerships.
  7. Monitor and analyze global market trends and developments that may impact cash and liquidity management.
  8. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on cash and liquidity positions, variances, and recommendations for improvement.
  9. Develop and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Mentor and support team members, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to cash and liquidity management.
  12. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary information and support during audits.
  13. Proactively identify and address any potential cash flow issues or risks and develop contingency plans.
  14. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to cash and liquidity management.
  15. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of cash and liquidity management operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field. A Strong Foundation In Financial Principles And Practices Is Essential For A Treasury Manager At Uber.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Treasury, Liquidity Management, Or Cash Management. Previous Experience In A Global Company And Familiarity With International Cash Management And Banking Systems Is Preferred.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail. As A Treasury Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Large Amounts Of Financial Data And Making Strategic Decisions Based On That Information.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Banks, And External Auditors, Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Treasury Systems And Technology. As A Global Company, Uber Relies Heavily On Technology For Its Treasury Operations. Experience With Treasury Management Systems And Proficiency In Excel And Other Financial Software Is Required.
