  1. Provide athletic training services to patients, coaches, and other healthcare professionals in the community.
  2. Develop and implement injury prevention programs for athletes and individuals.
  3. Perform initial evaluations and assessments of injuries and develop treatment plans.
  4. Administer therapeutic interventions, including modalities and exercise programs, to promote healing and recovery.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients, coaches, and community members on injury prevention and proper techniques for physical activity.
  7. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current best practices and techniques in athletic training.
  9. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards for patient care.
  10. Participate in outreach programs and events to promote health and wellness in the community.
  11. Provide coverage for athletic events and assist with emergency care if needed.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Act as a positive representative of UCHealth and promote our mission to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
  15. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  16. Maintain appropriate licensure and certification.
  17. Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure proper coverage and reimbursement for services provided.
  18. Attend team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Certification By The Board Of Certification (Boc) For Athletic Trainers.

  • Current Cpr/Aed Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer In A Community Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Injury Prevention, Assessment, Treatment, And Rehabilitation Techniques For Athletes Of All Ages And Skill Levels.
