1. Record and reconcile all payments and adjustments received by the organization.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
3. Use accounting and finance skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in recording and reconciling payments.
4. Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies and ensure timely processing of payments.
5. Keep track of all payment deadlines and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
6. Utilize software and other tools to accurately record and track financial data.
7. Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve any payment-related issues.
8. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
9. Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in payment processes.
10. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
11. Work closely with other departments, such as Billing and Collections, to ensure accurate and timely recording of payments.
12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal team members.
13. Attend training sessions and meetings to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
