- Develop and implement personalized exercise programs for patients to help improve their overall health and well-being.
- Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate exercise plans for each individual patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting exercise programs as needed.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and advancements in exercise physiology to continually enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the organization and relevant governing bodies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Uphold the mission and values of UCHealth in all interactions and responsibilities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices and protocols.
- Continuously assess and improve own professional skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Cep) Through The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Exercise Physiologist In A Clinical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Exercise Physiology Principles And Ability To Develop Individualized Exercise Plans For Patients With Various Medical Conditions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Healthcare Team, And Other Professionals In A Multidisciplinary Setting.
