  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with imaging equipment to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to develop and implement new techniques and procedures for imaging equipment maintenance and repair.
  4. Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure availability for equipment repairs.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in imaging equipment maintenance and repair.
  7. Communicate effectively with medical staff to understand and address their needs and concerns related to imaging equipment.
  8. Train and mentor new team members on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
  10. Collaborate with vendors to schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and equipment updates.
  11. Work closely with the IT department to ensure proper integration and connectivity of imaging equipment with hospital systems.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency assistance for equipment issues outside of regular business hours.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all infection control and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Medical Imaging Equipment

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Imaging Equipment Technology, Including X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound

  • Familiarity With Relevant Safety And Regulatory Standards, Such As Fda And Joint Commission Requirements

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Diagnose And Repair Complex Issues With Imaging Equipment.
