  1. Manage inventory of essential materials: Keep track of stock levels and monitor usage to ensure that all necessary materials are readily available for use.
  2. Distribute materials: Work closely with various departments to distribute materials according to their needs, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
  3. Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory levels, distribution, and any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  4. Monitor supply levels: Anticipate potential shortages or excessive stock levels and take appropriate action to ensure that materials are always available when needed.
  5. Collaborate with vendors: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  6. Conduct quality checks: Inspect materials upon arrival to ensure they meet quality standards and report any issues to the appropriate department.
  7. Assist with budgeting: Provide input and recommendations for materials budgeting, based on usage and anticipated needs.
  8. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling and distributing materials to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  9. Communicate effectively: Collaborate with team members and departments to communicate any changes or updates to inventory levels or distribution processes.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends: Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends to make informed decisions on materials management and distribution processes.
  11. Train and mentor new staff: Assist in the training and mentoring of new materials technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure efficient and safe handling of materials.
  13. Adhere to company policies: Follow all company policies and procedures regarding materials management, distribution, and safety regulations.
  14. Provide excellent customer service: Act as a point of contact for any materials-related inquiries or concerns and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Medical Setting.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.
