- Provide compassionate and skilled care to patients in the outpatient infusion setting.
- Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and medications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease process, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain knowledge and proficiency in infusion therapy techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Advocate for patients' needs and provide emotional support.
- Stay current with healthcare advancements and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Assist with the orientation and training of new staff members.

Valid Rn License In The State Of Colorado: The Candidate Must Hold A Current, Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Colorado, As Well As Maintain Any Necessary Certifications And Credentials.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Therapy: Uchealth Requires Candidates To Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, With A Focus On Infusion Therapy And Experience With Various Infusion Pumps And Equipment.
Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Should Possess Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certification From The American Heart Association.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Knowledge Of Infusion Medications And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Infusion Medications, Their Uses, And Potential Side Effects. They Should Also Be Familiar With Proper Infusion Procedures, Including Administering And Monitoring Medications, Managing Iv Lines, And Recognizing And Responding To Potential Complications.
