Hair Stylist

We are looking for an experienced Hair Stylist to join our Ulta Beauty team! Our goal is to create a memorable experience for every guest that walks through our doors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and hairstyling, and be able to develop long-term relationships with our guests. To excel in this role, you must be highly creative, organized, and have excellent customer service skills.The successful Hair Stylist will have a minimum of 2 years of professional hair styling experience, along with a valid cosmetology license. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of current trends and practices in the beauty industry. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to assess the needs of each guest and provide a personalized experience. On top of these qualifications, the candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and develop strong customer relationships.

• Maintain a detailed knowledge of current trends and practices in the beauty industry.

• Create custom hairstyles for each guest.

• Use professional hair styling techniques to provide the highest quality of service.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

• Provide helpful product recommendations for guests.

• Comply with all applicable state and local cosmetology regulations.

• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.

• Participate in team meetings and trainings.

• Assist with the opening and closing of the store.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
