- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of Ulta Beauty products and services to assist customers in their purchases.
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Manage and process all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Train and supervise cashiers to ensure consistency in service and adherence to company policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Keep the cash wrap area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with store management to achieve sales goals and targets.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
- Ensure compliance with all cash handling and store policies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Previous Retail Or Cashier Experience: A Lead Cashier At Ulta Beauty Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Cashier Role. This Experience Will Provide Them With The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Handle The Fast-Paced Environment Of The Store.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Lead Cashier, One Of The Primary Responsibilities Is To Ensure A Positive Customer Experience. This Requires Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Handle Difficult Customers And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.
Cash Handling Experience: A Lead Cashier Should Have Experience Handling Large Amounts Of Cash And Processing Various Forms Of Payment, Including Credit Cards And Gift Cards. They Should Also Be Familiar With Basic Cash Handling Procedures And Be Able To Balance A Cash Drawer At The End Of Each Shift.
Supervisory Experience: The Lead Cashier Role At Ulta Beauty Involves Overseeing The Work Of Other Cashiers And Ensuring That They Are Performing Their Duties Correctly. Therefore, Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role Is An Essential Qualification For This Job.
