- Ensure all stores are fully stocked and merchandised with the latest and greatest beauty products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute merchandising strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking and replenishment.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and displays.
- Create visually appealing displays to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
- Manage and maintain planograms to ensure consistency across all stores.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events and product launches.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Train and educate store associates on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Monitor sales performance and make recommendations for adjustments to maximize profitability.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all merchandising activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for new products and strategies.
- Uphold company policies and standards for visual merchandising and product placement.
Strong Knowledge Of Beauty Industry: A Merchandising Coordinator At Ulta Beauty Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Beauty Industry, Including Current Trends, Products, And Competitor Offerings.
Excellent Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Effectively Manage And Coordinate The Flow Of Products, Promotions, And Displays In The Store.
Detail-Oriented: A Merchandising Coordinator Must Have A Keen Attention To Detail To Ensure All Products Are Accurately Labeled, Displayed, And Stocked According To Company Standards.
Team Player: This Role Involves Collaborating With Various Teams, Including Buying, Marketing, And Store Operations. Therefore, Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills Are Crucial For Success.
Merchandising Experience: Ulta Beauty Prefers Candidates With Previous Merchandising Experience, Preferably In The Retail Or Beauty Industry. This Includes Experience With Product Placement, Visual Displays, And Inventory Management.
