
Assistant Director of Communications and Content Strategy

- Develop and implement the university's communication and content strategy, in alignment with the overall branding and messaging goals.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify and create compelling content that effectively communicates the university's mission, achievements, and initiatives.
- Manage and oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content for multiple platforms, including social media, website, email newsletters, and other digital and print channels.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital media and content creation, and make recommendations for improvements and new strategies.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of communication and content initiatives, and use data-driven insights to inform future strategies and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and other external partners to increase the university's visibility and reach.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the university and ensure all communication and content aligns with the university's brand standards and guidelines.
- Manage a team of content creators and oversee their work, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop visual assets and design elements that enhance the overall impact of communication and content.
- Coordinate and assist with crisis communication situations as needed.
- Provide training and support to university staff and faculty on effective communication and content creation strategies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the university in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Communications And Content Strategy.
Strong Writing And Editing Skills, With Experience Creating Content For Various Mediums Such As Web, Social Media, And Print.
Experience With Project Management And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines.
Familiarity With Higher Education And Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Audiences.
