Job Description

Are you a natural leader with a passion for retail and the outdoors? Under Armour is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager for our Cotswolds location. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for someone who is motivated, organized, and has a strong understanding of sales and merchandising.   1. Oversee all aspects of the store's daily operations, including sales, inventory management, staffing, and customer service.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve overall store performance.
  3. Hire, train, and manage a team of retail associates, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and development.
  4. Ensure that all store employees are providing exceptional customer service and representing the Under Armour brand.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data and trends to make informed decisions about product assortment and merchandising.
  6. Maintain a high level of visual merchandising standards in accordance with company guidelines.
  7. Collaborate with corporate teams to plan and execute store events and promotions.
  8. Monitor and manage store expenses and budgets to maximize profitability.
  9. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
  12. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for Under Armour and represent the company's values and mission.
  14. Handle any customer inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Prepare and submit reports to senior management on store performance and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Retail Management: The Ideal Candidate For The Store Manager Role At Under Armor Would Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Managing A Retail Store, Preferably In The Sports Or Athletic Industry.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Store Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Employees. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Maintain A Positive Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Merchandising: The Successful Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Inventory Management, Including Ordering, Receiving, And Tracking Merchandise. They Should Also Have Experience In Visual Merchandising To Ensure That The Store's Displays Are Visually Appealing And Organized.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting Sales Targets: The Store Manager Will Be Responsible For Driving Sales And Meeting Revenue Targets. As Such, They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Achieving And Exceeding Sales Goals In Their Previous Roles.

  • Passion For The Under Armor Brand And Products: Under Armor Prides Itself On Its High-Quality Athletic Apparel And Accessories. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Genuine Passion For The Brand And Its Products, As This Will Translate Into Providing Excellent Customer Service And Driving Sales Performance.
