Focus Improvement Engineer

As the Focused Improvement Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering the factory results through the Focused Improvement (FI) methodology. Working directly with Production team members, site Technical Engineering, and all Pillars to act as the technical advisor providing coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures. You will achieve this by mastering the WCM methodology through study and practical application, coaching the factory teams as they progress through the program, and driving change. You will be guided on loss prioritization and elimination by working close with Cost Deployment, Quality, and Safety Pillar leads. You will also play a key role in moving away from the reactive approach to losses towards a proactive approach. You will find creative ways to leverage factory talent, train employees on WCM concepts, and lead FI projects. You will be able to apply digital enhancements to processes and workstreams to source data or drive change.
