  1. Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement sustainability programs and initiatives to reduce the company's environmental impact.
  3. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and policies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental best practices and promote a culture of sustainability within the company.
  5. Keep up-to-date with changing environmental regulations and communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Analyze and interpret environmental data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community organizations.
  8. Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address any environmental concerns or issues.
  9. Provide training and support to employees on environmental policies and procedures.
  10. Conduct research and stay informed on emerging environmental issues and technologies in order to make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Make recommendations for process changes or improvements to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to incorporate sustainability practices into business operations.
  13. Prepare and submit environmental reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
  14. Manage environmental permits and ensure timely renewal and compliance.
  15. Participate in emergency response and preparedness activities related to environmental incidents.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Environmental Compliance And Regulation, Preferably In The Transportation Or Railroad Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Environmental Laws And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, And Resource Conservation And Recovery Act.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Experience Conducting Environmental Audits, Developing And Implementing Environmental Management Plans, And Conducting Environmental Impact Assessments.
