- Provide support and assistance to the HR department in all aspects of employee management and operations.
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring all necessary paperwork and training is completed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Respond to employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resources as needed.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of employee events and initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any HR-related issues or concerns.
- Update and maintain the company's HRIS and other HR databases.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR and make recommendations for improvements.
- Play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits and payroll.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Transportation Or Logistics Environment
Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization
Ability To Handle Confidential Information With Discretion And Maintain A High Level Of Professionalism At All Times
