  1. Maintain and enhance Union Pacific Railroad's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  3. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance technology systems.
  4. Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for implementing new tools and processes.
  5. Ensure the security and integrity of Union Pacific Railroad's data through regular backups, updates, and maintenance.
  6. Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on the use of technology.
  7. Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  8. Train employees on new technology and software systems.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of IT services.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze IT processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize performance.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to data security, privacy, and compliance.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate and prioritize IT projects and tasks.
  13. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on IT projects and initiatives.
  14. Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In It Support Or Related Field.

  • Experience With Network Infrastructure, Hardware And Software Troubleshooting, And Security Protocols.

  • Knowledge Of Windows And Linux Operating Systems.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
