A minimum of five years of experience as a Locomotive Engineer and a valid Engineer's License are required.   1. Safely operate locomotives to transport goods across our rail network.
  2. Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.

  9. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues.
  10. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and improve efficiency.
  11. Train and mentor new Locomotive Engineers as needed.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Union Pacific Railroad.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Operating Locomotives On Class I Railroads.

  • Thorough Knowledge Of Federal Railroad Administration (Fra) Regulations And Safety Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Ability To Work Irregular Schedules, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays.

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With A Clean Driving Record.
