  1. Operate and maintain locomotives in a safe and efficient manner, following all company and industry regulations and procedures.
  2. Monitor train systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and identify any potential issues.
  3. Communicate with dispatchers, train crews, and other personnel to coordinate train movements and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  4. Adhere to strict schedules and timetables to ensure on-time arrival and departure of trains.
  5. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of locomotives and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of train operations, including daily activity logs and incident reports.
  7. Continuously monitor and assess train speed, braking, and other control functions to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  8. Collaborate with other team members, including train crews and maintenance personnel, to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements, safety regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Certified Locomotive Engineer Training Program.

  • Minimum Of High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Possess A Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Hazmat Endorsement.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Operating Freight Or Passenger Trains.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Railroad Operations And Safety.
