  1. Responsible for timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for the company.
  2. Conduct research and market analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as government regulations.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and contracts.
  6. Communicate effectively with suppliers to establish and maintain positive relationships.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for inventory management.
  8. Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
  10. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, ensuring their purchasing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  12. Assist with budget planning and cost-saving initiatives.
  13. Train and mentor junior purchasing team members.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Adhere to safety procedures and protocols while carrying out purchasing responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing, Preferably In The Transportation Or Logistics Industry.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management Principles And Best Practices, Including Sourcing, Contract Management, And Inventory Control.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software Used For Purchasing And Inventory Management, Such As Sap Or Oracle, As Well As Microsoft Excel.
