  1. Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
  3. Analyze safety data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  5. Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees to promote a culture of safety.
  6. Investigate and report on safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
  7. Develop and maintain safety records and documentation.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve safety protocols.
  9. Communicate safety policies and procedures to employees and ensure understanding and compliance.
  10. Foster a positive safety culture by promoting and recognizing safe behaviors and practices.
  11. Serve as the main point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with external safety agencies and organizations.
  13. Participate in emergency response procedures and drills.
  14. Monitor and maintain safety equipment and supplies.
  15. Identify and recommend safety improvements and initiatives.
  16. Collaborate with management to develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
  17. Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  18. Communicate any safety concerns or violations to appropriate personnel.
  19. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling safety-related matters.
  20. Act as a role model for safety by following all safety protocols and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety And Health, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Safety Role, Preferably In A Railroad Or Transportation Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Safety Hazards.
