- Conduct thorough inspections of signals and other equipment to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with signals and other equipment, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of railway systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring the well-being of yourself and others on the railway.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including any updates or changes made to signals and other equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and share knowledge and expertise.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate signal performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functioning.
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in the railway industry to improve efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to report any issues or concerns and provide updates on maintenance progress.

Knowledge And Experience In Electrical And Mechanical Systems: A Signal Maintainer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Principles, As Well As Experience In Troubleshooting And Repairing Complex Systems.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Larger Team, A Signal Maintainer Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Coworkers And Supervisors, As Well As Work Collaboratively To Complete Tasks And Solve Problems.
