1. Maintain and repair signal and communication systems in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
2. Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of signal and communication systems.
3. Troubleshoot and diagnose signal and communication system issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
4. Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including any equipment or parts used.

9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and promote a culture of safety among team members.

11. Represent Union Pacific Railroad in a professional manner when interacting with clients, contractors, and the public.
12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
13. Act as a role model for other team members, and mentor and train new employees as needed.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
