1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on railroad signaling systems, including electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with signaling equipment to identify and resolve malfunctions or defects.
3. Conduct repairs and replacements on damaged or malfunctioning signaling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the railroad network.
4. Follow proper safety protocols and procedures while working on or near active railroad tracks.
5. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to maintenance and repairs.
6. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and any issues encountered.
7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to railroad signaling systems.

10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Train and mentor new Signal Maintainers as needed.
12. Stay current with advancements in signaling technology and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
